Applications are invited from highly talented pianists up to and including the age of 21 years at the time of being granted the award, who are in need of financial assistance.
There is no restriction on nationality but applicants should be resident in the London Borough of Ealing.
Awards are currently made to pianists only.
The age limit is 21 years at the closing date of applications which is 12th April 2019.
Applications must be submitted on the application form with a cheque for the non-refundable entry fee of £10.00 which should be made payable to the Eileen Rowe Musical Trust. (The fee is to offset administrative expenses).
The application form and the cheque must be sent to: The Administrator, Eileen Rowe Musical Trust, 13 St Stephens Road, Ealing, London, W13 8HB before the closing date . Applications must also be supported by two references from highly qualified, professional musicians, one of whom should be the applicant’s current teacher.
These references must be sent direct to the administrator by the referees and must arrive at the above address by the closing date of 12th April 2019.
Applications will not be considered unless all these conditions are met.
Final selection will be by auditions to be held at St. Mary’s Church, Perivale on Saturday 25th May 2019.
